What is the Indian Makhani?
The term Makhani refers to a butter dish (Makkhan). The acidity of this red-colored tomato-based sauce is countered by the sweetness of the cream and the butter, and this mixture results in a creamy and voluptuous curry to which lentils, chicken or Paneer are added.
